NOWHERE to HIDE: Accelerating Karmuppance Just Ahead

Dear Friend,
The good news is that starting NOW and picking up speed throughout the rest of this year, we’ll be given the opportunity–courtesy of some rare and powerful planetary transits–to jettison some major karmic baggage we’ve been lugging around for lifetimes.
As Karmic Teacher Saturn aligns with the Dharmic North Node in transformational Scorpio this month, the message is clear: It’s time to let go of attachments to habitual patterns and limiting beliefs that keep us from fulfilling our destiny–i.e. soul assignment, mission or purpose.
This can be an especially painful process, as the Karmic South Node, which represents our past lives, is in comfort-loving Taurus–and is being challenged by Saturn to push us out of our comfort zones. This means that all those secret little habits we’ve been hiding to take our comfort in are not going to be so easy to get away with anymore without increasingly heavy karmic consequences. And, if we cling–OUCH! But, if we choose to let go: Major growing pains, in a very good way.
Besides letting go of our comfort zones on the sense levels, this is also a time to reevaluate what gives meaning and value to our lives and what we believe we deserve. So many of us have limiting beliefs of unworthiness and then we wonder why we’re not manifesting fulfilling our soul assignments with joy. For more: On Pleasure, Joy and Bliss
When figuring out what our destiny is, it’s important to clarify three stages:
I. Our personal destiny involves resolving karmic debts that are ripe to be healed in this incarnation. This can mean paying in full, to the best of our ability, family or relationship duties, obligations and commitments. But, most especially now, this foundation level of our destiny–which cannot be skipped–involves letting go of self-destructive, stagnating and life-force- depleting mental and emotional habits and addictions that reinforce a limiting view of our worthiness to deserve more.

II. Our soul-level destiny involves the fulfillment of out soul assignment through growing and expanding in the areas we have the most enthusiasm, joy and passion for. But, even as we’re developing the gifts and talents that fuel our soul’s purpose, it’s important to recognize that our experiences of wounding, abuse and addiction may be the accelerant in the alchemical cauldron that determines the course of how our major destiny unfolds.

III. Our ultimate destiny, which holds true for all souls, sooner or later, is to experience merging our identity with Source as co-creators. And while many of us have glimpses of this state of Being from time to time, for this ultimate merger to be realized with no return to lesser states, ALL lower levels of karma must be fully played out.

If This Were Your Last Incarnation, What Would You Do?
In closing, here’s a very timely reminder from Ram Dass:
“As we get closer to the inner gates of freedom, of enlightenment, of liberation, the subtle clingings will be fanned all the more and the opportunities for gratification keep increasing.”
Especially timely, since, in mid-September, when Saturn conjoins the Dharmic North Node at 9 degrees of Scorpio, love planet Venus will be at this exact degree as well.
This means that many of us may be experiencing some romantic karmic deja-vu-doo-(doo :))–as a test to see how far we’ve unwound our samskarasâ–i.e. karmic grooves–in the 2nd chakra area, which is also ruled by the sensuous Taurus south node. This may involve an encounter that seems magical and serendipitous . . . but a test of letting go of karmic attachment, nonetheless.
I encourage everyone–including and especially ME–to make the most of the accelerating energies this season to move to the next level of our conscious evolution. As, not only is the “quickening” of the mass evolution of consciousness right at the tipping point–but transformational Pluto in Capricorn is in mutual reception with Saturn now (i.e. each in the other’s ruling sign) at–you guessed it–9 degrees of their respective signs.
When these two powerhouses are sextile and in mutual reception, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to invest in upgrading our soul-level operating systems pro-actively. I’ve never seen a clearer Divine imperative (9-9-9) for the culmination of a karmic cycle–individually and en masse–than Now.
