Dear Friend,
Based on my psychic read of the major planetary and galactic factors affecting us in 2013 and beyond, those of us in the process of awakening should be at least mildly suspicious, if not downright disillusioned, by “business as usual” here on Planet Earth.
What do I mean by “business as usual?” More of us are becoming increasingly aware that the mass consciousness, fueled by the “powers that be,” has been sold a recipe for happiness that is a shoddy piece of goods. We’re learning more and more—courtesy of accelerating earth changes and man-made and nature-made structural instability—that building our “house” on the sands of samsara, i.e. the ephemeral nature of the earth plane, is in reality a recipe for ongoing anxiety and metaphysical angst.
In our modern Westernized culture, we’ve been taught that if only we had enough external perks, then we’d be happy, joyous and free. But why is it that some of the most unhappy, fear-based, neurotic or insecure people I know happen to be multi-millionaires, trust-fund babies or super-models? If you’re getting that something smells fishy here—you’re on the right track.
It’s high time we consciously re-order our priorities so that we build our houses—i.e. where we live inside of our selves—on a foundation that is unchanging, regardless of external flux—of which there is more coming down the pike without any doubt whatsoever. And, what is unchanging and always available—beyond even our individual soul nature (which is a useful steppingstone identity/way station on our journeys home)—is: Source, or the Tao, i.e. the Flow of Life.
Now, I’m not suggesting that we shouldn’t enjoy playing the Earth Game, Leela, with full out gusto. (For more: LEELA) I’m only proposing that, if we truly want peace of mind as our primary goal, we invest more of our attention and energy into growing our souls and connecting with Source—which is home in the Earth Game. There is no better foundation to derive our inner stability, security and solace from than that which is unchanging, beginningless and endless. For more on this: On Pleasure, Joy and Bliss
We can still enjoy our homes and “stuff” along with all the other pleasures money can buy—just as long as we don’t cling to them as the ultimate source of our equanimity. Therein lies the danger. Or, as the Taoist sages say: “If you scramble around for inner peace, you will lose your inner peace.” Not to mention that the true gold standard of abundance—heart energy in all its expressions of empathy, compassion and love—can be found and experienced in some of the most unstable and “poorest” places on the planet.
We have not yet approached the tipping point where over 51% of the mass consciousness is on board with the idea that what we have been seeking externally from time immemorial has always been inside our own greater Being. But then, that is what the next Great Age in the evolution of consciousness kicking off NOW (according to the Mayan calendar and others) is all about! And aren’t we the lucky ones to be in a precious human incarnation at the starting gate of tipping the scales of consciousness by setting our own personal tone that “All is Well” from the inside out?
Here are some tips from my personal stash of daily reminders to not just survive but thrive soulfully through 2013 and beyond:
1. Enjoying creating my daily reality with passion as an ongoing work of art—without so much attachment to outcomes that it throws me off center and I miss the big picture . . . and smiling.
2. Cultivating gratitude for whatever is on my plate by remembering that it could always be worse . . . and smiling.
3. Using everything that arises in me and the Flow of Life for transformation and grist for the karmic mill . . . and smiling.
4. Remembering the absolute truth in this plane of relative truth: There is only ONE Being made up of infinite energy that is perpetually transforming through infinite forms. And, whenever I get distracted from this higher truth—to bring myself back to it . . . with a smile.
In closing, the best way to reboot the screen of our perception is by imagining we are viewing life from the perspective of the Void, i.e. the black hole at the center of our galaxy out of which all forms arise. Without any dualistic screen on our perceptions creating judgment, everything that happens on any plane of consciousness is essentially neutral pure aliveness. And, that no matter how wonderful traveling in other dimensions is:
I. There’s no place like the physical plane for enjoying the physical senses.
II. There’s literally no place like a human incarnation for burning our karmic baggage. In fact, we can’t unload it anywhere else in the Universe, as we acquired it here!
III. There’s no place like planet Earth. Not only is it the only game in town—right here and right now—it just may be the bestest game in the Universe. This is confirmed by the long lines of souls on the other side waiting for a human incarnation to become available for them.
If hindsight is 20-20, and we could activate it RIGHT NOW, without waiting for our post-incarnation soul review, most of us would experience incredible nostalgia and some regret for that all that we “would of, should of and could of” done in our lives.
