PSYCHIC SUMMER PREVIEW: Outside of Linear Time, Out of Your Mind, with Karmic Déjà Vu Every Which Way You Look

Dear One,
Most of us have had the intuitive experience of familiarity and recognition that déjà vu brings at some point in our lives. The term comes from the French, meaning “already seen.” When it occurs, we feel as if our mind has been blown open to remember a new person as if we’ve already met, a new place as if we’ve already been there, or a new act as if we’ve already done it before.
This Summer, the experience of déjà vu is going to take us to completely new levels of consciousness outside of the mental constructs of linear space and time, as well as outside of the domain of our rational minds. This is because Retrograde Mars will be dancing with the South Node of our karmic past in a conjunction starting in early June and running through the end of September.
This quite rare planetary occurrence of action-ruling Mars RX in higher-mind-ruling Aquarius conjuncting the Karmic South Node has happened only three times since 1900, the last being in January of 1950. Its effects will allow us to go within and reconnect with some of our most potent and pertinent past-life memories.
So how do we make the most of these unique energies? Just like synchronicity (i.e., acausal meaningful coincidences), déjà vu is an activator that opens our consciousness up to the true nature of reality. This means that this Summer we have an opportunity to align perfectly in the Flow of Life as we dissolve our attachment to the ego/mind and the illusion of linear space and time.
Instead, we can choose to view the left brain/ego as a tool that the soul uses to function in the earth plane rather than as our true identity which is beginningless and endless. This will permit us to turn our left brain/ego “on and off” as needed for analytical functions, which releases us from a narrow view of relative reality and opens us up to what I call “unrelenting spaciousness.” I define this as a level of a more absolute reality where every being, every place and every time—horizontally and vertically thru all dimensions—is occurring simultaneously in an infinite loop that can be perceived as a hologram in which each part reflects all others.
Since 1972, when my psychic centers got blown open, I’ve been experiencing what I call karmic déjà vu, in which past-life memories and connections—with people, places and functions— bleedthrough in the present moment as my normal operating mode of consciousness.
I predict that, for those of us who are ready, karmic déjà vu will become our new normal, in that conscious, visceral experiences from other times and spaces will begin to occur on a daily basis. And since, these days, I’m outside of linear space and time more than ever before, I can assure you that you’re in for the adventure trip of this or any lifetime as your new identity becomes one of a multidimensional Light Being while simultaneously being fully embodied in human form.
Here are some most relevant quotes by Alan Watts on the true nature of reality that we will be having more and more glimpses of this Summer:
”Psychedelic experience is only a glimpse of genuine mystical insight, but a glimpse which can be matured and deepened by the various ways of meditation in which drugs are no longer necessary or useful. If you get the message, hang up the phone. For psychedelic drugs are simply instruments, like microscopes, telescopes, and telephones. The biologist does not sit with eye permanently glued to the microscope, he goes away and works on what he has seen.
What we see as death, empty space, or nothingness is only the trough between the crests of this endlessly waving ocean. It is all part of the illusion that there should seem to be something to be gained in the future, and that there is an urgent necessity to go on and on until we get it. Yet just as there is no time but the present, and no one except the all-and-everything, there is never anything to be gained—though the zest of the game is to pretend that there is.
Imagine a multidimensional spider’s web in the early morning covered with dew drops. And every dew drop contains the reflection of all the other dew drops. And, in each reflected dew drop, the reflections of all the other dew drops in that reflection. And so on, ad infinitum. That is the Buddhist conception of the universe in an image.”
If we allow it to happen, we’re being opened up to our mystical natures in the Eternal Now like never before. This opening, in addition to the Mars RX/South Node dance all summer, is being supported by the ongoing Quickening of energies that’s speeding up the evolution of consciousness on the planet. I’ve been writing about the Quickening since the nineties, but here’s my most recent take on it: The Quickening Phase II Is Here to Rock Your World.
When all times and spaces are experienced as happening simultaneously, it gives us delicious opportunities to melt through wormholes and experience visceral bleedthroughs—whether with old lovers, friends, enemies or all of the above—and pick up where we left off. Seth called these “reincarnational dramas” and they are incredibly juicy and alive in the “spacious present.” For more on this: Seth Speaks: The Eternal Validity of the Soul.
The most delicious, of course, are mutual unrequited karmic desires. So, if this type of connection comes your way in the Flow—enjoy! But also, watch out, as it comes with a warning label: “Karmic crazy glue ahead—very painful to break-up.”
Karmic déjà vu can also be triggered by specific geographical locations where we’ve had fond memories, or the other kinds, where we want to get out of there fast. Same with people. The full spectrum of out of time, out of our rational mind experiences will be playing out this summer, and play is the key word. It’s important to remember to not be so attached to the deliciousness in the moment with that person, place or taste that we cling to it, rather than swimming intensely in the present moment as we dive deeply into the Cosmic Ocean of the Eternal Now.
Alan Watts, one of my favorite synthesizers of Zen, Taoism and more said it all:
“To go out of your mind once a day is tremendously important, because by going out of your mind you come to your senses. And if you stay in your mind all of the time, you are over rational, in other words you are like a very rigid bridge which because it has no give; no craziness in it, is going to be blown down by the first hurricane.
Time is a social institution and not a physical reality. There is no such thing as time in the natural world—the world of stars and waters, clouds, mountains and living organisms. There is such a thing as rhythm—rhythm of tides, rhythm of biological processes. There is rhythm and there is motion. Time is a way of measuring motion.
I’ll tell you what hermits realize. If you go off into a far, far forest and get very quiet, you’ll come to understand that you’re connected to everything.”
I would be remiss in my astrological duties if I didn’t also mention the impact that the ingress of Trickster of Awakening Uranus into earthy Taurus on May 15 will be having on all of us. Just a week before, we had the beginning of the ongoing earthquakes and volcanic eruptions on the big island of Hawaii, a perfect literal metaphor for the merging of unpredictable fire and earth events that will be one of the hallmarks of the whole Uranus in Taurus transit, but especially in this transitional year.
Uranus backs up briefly in Aries for one more pass, 84 years in the making, so Uranus in Taurus won’t fully commence until the beginning of March 2019. In the meantime, Uranus will be hitting the master degree of 29 degrees of fiery Aries twice more in the coming year—where he was during the initial events in Hawaii. So, we can expect through 2026 more earth changes than we’ve ever seen before in this or perhaps any incarnation in quite a while.
We also have the volatility of an ongoing Mars/Uranus square in early Aquarius/Taurus this year hitting exactly on May 16 and peaking strongly again in the weeks surrounding: June 26 (when Mars stations RX), July 27 (when there’s a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse conjunct Mars RX, August 7 (when Uranus stations RX), and September 18 (with the final square). So, basically there will be almost continuous earth changes arising, among other forms of unpredictable instability on the planet.
So, what does this mean for you and me? We need to prepare for the unexpected, especially in terms of our material resources, as this is not the best time to gamble or take risks with more money than we can afford to lose and still be able to provide for ourselves.
On the inner levels, the way to go is to surrender daily to complete changeability as the perfect accelerant for cultivating flexibility in the Flow of Life with maximal growth.

All this planetary upheaval indicates that whatever is erupting is going to shake us up to wake us up out of our complacency and shock us into full aliveness in the Eternal Now, where the only clear certainty is that we are powerless to take any external actions to reverse the flow of mass events except to maintain the witnessing perspective.
When Mars begins to slow down in the heavens, turning retrograde on June 26, his energies upon the earth intensify, to put it mildly. As Mars is the planet of aggression, motivation, instigation and action, Mars RX can trigger wars and all kinds of fights, as well as major changes in attitudes and positions personally and en masse.
This ongoing volatility necessitates an even stronger commitment to a daily meditation practice to provide peace and equanimity amidst all the unexpected personal and planetary events coming our way. Therefore, maintaining the witnessing perspective is paramount if we want to enjoy all the many pleasures of the summer season and not allow ourselves to indulge in impatience, irritability, frustration, or any forms of free-floating anxiety, which I call metaphysical angst.
In the middle of the summer season, we’re in for a very intense Triple Eclipse season starting in mid-July, always ratcheting up the energy even more. I will address the summer Eclipse season in more detail in my next newsletter, among other things presently percolating. This includes the unfolding reality that, as the Quickening Phase II is dissolving the boundaries between dimensions more and more, we may be experiencing more intense symptoms of the galactic flu (formerly called the psychic flu). I know I’ve been more challenged than ever before in this regard.

In closing, we can choose to succumb to feeling disoriented in an unstable, ungrounded way by allowing the mass tone of consciousness (always the lowest vibrational common denominator) affect our emotional tone. Or, we can choose to maintain peace in our inner kingdom by our daily spiritual and mind/body practices and allow this tone to affect our personal reality and, in the ripple effect, to affect the energies on planet earth as we choose to experience it.
